About The Position

CommonSpirit Health, a major integrated care network in Texas, is seeking an executive leader for its Oncology Clinical Service Line across specified markets. This role will drive the overall success and administration of the Oncology Service Line through strategic implementation and operational oversight. The Market VP will collaborate with functional leaders to ensure quality patient care and comprehensive health services by directing effective communication and promoting standardization across campuses. Key responsibilities include driving performance in quality, operations, finance, regulatory compliance, and market share growth, aligning with the organization's mission and values. The role involves working with executive sponsors to grow volume, improve service, and control costs through process improvement, acting as the primary liaison between the service line and physicians. Success in this role requires exceptional executive leadership, deep expertise in oncology clinical operations and strategic planning, and a proven ability to drive quality patient care, financial performance, and market growth within a complex, multi-market environment. The position also involves identifying and exploring opportunities for expanding or improving current services, defining and analyzing workflows and processes to improve efficiency and satisfaction, and communicating organizational mission, vision, and goals to team members.

Requirements

  • Masters degree or Post Graduate degree
  • 4-6 years experience
  • Minimum 5 years in hospital operations at the administrative leadership level

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the executive leader for the Oncology Clinical Service Line across specified markets, driving its overall success and administration through strategic implementation and seamless operational oversight.
  • Collaborate with functional leaders, ensuring quality patient care and comprehensive health services by directing effective communication and promoting standardization across campuses.
  • Drive performance across all service line areas including quality, operations, finance, regulatory compliance, and market share growth, aligning with our mission and values.
  • Work with executive sponsors to grow volume, improve service, and control costs through process improvement.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the service line and physicians.
  • Identify and explore opportunities for expanding or improving current services.
  • Define and analyze workflow and processes to improve efficiency and increase patient, physician, and associate satisfaction.
  • Routinely communicate the organizational mission, vision and goals with team members, encouraging them to take ownership and be engaged in the organization’s performance.
  • Demonstrate timely and effective communication skills in daily interaction with team members and others.
  • Proactively improve the quality of the services provided by focusing on the mission and core values of CommonSpirit Health.
