About The Position

UniFirst is seeking a Market Service Manager to join their team. This role will oversee all operational aspects of the service department to ensure customer retention. The Market Service Manager will recruit and lead a team of Route Service Managers, Route Service Supervisors, and Route Service Representatives who serve a diverse customer base, from small businesses to major corporations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving customer satisfaction, account growth, and profitability for their location.

Requirements

  • Business savvy with a focus on increasing profit and customer satisfaction
  • Results-driven relationship manager willing to assist the team and customers
  • Ability to work with and support a team of Route Service Representatives and Route Service Managers
  • Individuals who drive their personal vehicles for business purposes will be required to comply with minimum auto insurance requirements per UniFirst's standards.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Ability to problem-solve and handle various customer service situations
  • Ability to negotiate, train, coach, and lead a team
  • Strong computer proficiency (MS Office)
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • 21 years of age
  • Valid non-commercial driver’s license in the state of residence
  • Must meet pre-employment DOT physical requirements
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the recruiting, training, and development of a team of Route Service Representatives and Route Service Supervisors
  • Build strong relationships with customers and elevate the team's customer satisfaction levels
  • Collaborate with the location management team to provide excellent customer service and product programs
  • Negotiate customer contract renewals
