About The Position

Key leadership role for the Commercial and Wealth Banking Programs in the Palm Beach and Broward Market. Determines strategy and defines vision for the Market. Oversees all aspects of the market. Develops and directs the following market segments: Commercial, Business Banking and Wealth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor (4-year college) degree and 15+ years of progressive leadership experience specifically in Commercial Business Banking and/or Private Client/Wealth (Private Banking).

Responsibilities

  • Directs and manages the commercial lending and private banking teams for their respective market.
  • Directly manages commercial group managers.
  • Actively involved in the business development opportunities within their respective market.
  • Develops policies, objectives, initiatives for market and is responsible for making sure the market meets its goals and objectives in sales and service levels.
  • Reviews reports and financial statements to determine policy changes due to changes in economic conditions.
  • Serves as bank representative in professional, business, and community organizations to promote bank services.
  • Analyzes and competitively responds to financial services offered in the business community.
  • Plans budget and monitors financial activities.
  • Develops, implements and manages multiple Commercial markets to fulfill strategies, objectives and policies; responsible for the financial & strategic performance of the overall market mix, including financial plan development with objectives & tactics, budgeting, pricing, employee value and customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Oversees the business development activities for multiple markets, ensuring sales planning, implementation and performance are meeting targeted goals.
  • Provides leadership and personal involvement in the local Market's civic community that positions the Bank and it's perception within the Market as a responsible corporate citizen.
  • Supervises subordinate staff including: hiring recommendations; determining workload and delegating assignments; training, monitoring and evaluating performance; and initiating corrective and disciplinary actions to include terminations.
  • Directly responsible for directing, coordinating, and evaluating designated units or certain personnel in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; providing pay change recommendations; disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
