About The Position
ISO New England has an important role to play in securing the region’s clean and reliable energy future. In this role you will assist in the Day-Ahead and Real-Time Energy Markets operations in accordance with established Market Rules, manuals and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Math, Science, or other relevant areas.
- Ability to work independently, use good judgment, and manage priorities effectively while meeting production deadlines
- Experience providing exceptional customer service and working successfully in a team environment
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills and advanced report writing and presentation skills
- Proficiency with MS Excel and/or Access
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours and weekend coverage

- Experience in systems, transmission reliability, and/or market operations
Responsibilities
- Executing and approving the Day-Ahead Market.
- Monitoring and finalizing Real-Time Energy Market Locational Marginal Prices (LMPs), Reserve Market Clearing Prices (RMCPs), and Regulation Clearing Prices (RCPs).
- Carrying out complex pre- and post-production market and system operations analysis
- Actively participating in process improvement
- Developing, testing and delivering market process or software changes
