About The Position

Under general supervision, this role involves analyzing and reporting on District system operations and their integration into organized markets. The primary goal is to ensure sustained performance and growth in current and future wholesale energy environments. Key responsibilities include developing and coordinating Extended Day-Ahead Market (EDAM) operational procedures, optimizing assets for California Independent System Operator (CAISO) markets to ensure reliability and economics, and interfacing with supporting departments within the District. The role also includes performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, computer science, engineering, data management or related degree.
• Three years of increasingly responsible professional experience in financial analysis, accounting, reporting, and automated systems.
• A negative drug test is required as a condition of employment.
• Employees must notify supervision when applying for a position.
