About The Position

The Market Manager – Physician Services serves as a key liaison between practice managers and regional leadership, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and consistency across multiple clinics. This role facilitates the execution of strategic initiatives by supporting practice operations, guiding performance improvement efforts, and coordinating resources to drive quality care and operational efficiency. Working closely with the director and physician leaders, the Market Manager helps translate organizational goals into effective, day-to-day practice management.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in a healthcare setting, preferably overseeing multiple physician practices or clinical departments.
  • Demonstrated experience in staff management, including performance evaluation, recruitment, development, and payroll oversight.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships in a healthcare environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare regulatory and compliance protocols, policies, and procedures, including accreditation requirements.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with physicians and clinical leaders, fostering engagement, collaboration, and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Experience analyzing operational and performance metrics to drive quality improvement, efficiency, and strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across a regional network.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a central liaison between 10 physician practice managers and regional leadership, facilitating communication, alignment, and consistency across clinics.
  • Supports the translation of organizational strategy into actionable plans by coordinating with practice managers and the director to implement departmental goals, standards, and objectives.
  • Guides and advises practice managers on staff relations, including performance management, recruitment, development, and payroll processes, ensuring consistency and adherence to organizational expectations.
  • Partners with practice managers to monitor budgets, contracts, regulatory requirements, and vendor relationships, providing oversight and support to promote operational and financial effectiveness.
  • Strengthens relationships across practices by fostering collaboration between physicians, practice managers, and leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Coordinates the review of clinical and operational performance metrics with practice managers, helping identify trends, share best practices, and drive improvements in quality, patient experience, and efficiency.
  • Acts as a conduit for strategic initiatives and process improvements, collaborating with the director and practice managers to ensure effective communication, execution, and follow-through across the region.
