Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 4+ years in tires, automotive, or a related industry
  • Proven experience leading teams in a retail or service-driven environment (preferably multi-store supervision)
  • Strong coaching, facilitation, and communication skills
  • Ability to influence behaviors through data, pay plan understanding, and relationship building
  • High attention to detail and comfort operating in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
  • Willingness and ability to perform TSA duties when needed

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary field leader and coach for Tire Service Advisors across assigned markets.
  • Ensure consistent execution of Dealer Tire’s operational standards and Service Lane Inspection (SLI) tool.
  • Coach TSAs on the complete service process—from customer greeting through objection handling and closing the sale.
  • Drive effective inspection presentations and accurate repair order additions.
  • Spend 70%-75% of time onsite in dealerships, providing shoulder-to-shoulder, real-time coaching.
  • Conduct announced and unannounced visits to observe behaviors and reinforce best practices.
  • Deliver structured feedback, quarterly development discussions, and performance evaluations.
  • Make staffing recommendations including hiring, promotions, corrective action, and terminations.
  • Identify skill gaps and ensure all dealership personnel are trained on Dealer Tire products and tools.
  • Partner with Service Managers, Parts Managers, GMs, and OEM representatives to grow tire and Maintenance & Light Repair (MLR) performance.
  • Oversee tire program execution, including product screens, pricing strategies, inventory, and sales effectiveness.
  • Analyze and leverage data such as RO trends, competitive pricing, alignment sales, and customer pay.
  • Lead scorecard review meetings, provide actionable recommendations, and document follow-ups in Salesforce.
  • Support the launch of new Tire Store locations.
  • Foster collaboration and consistency across Tire Service Advisor teams within the market.
  • Share best practices, performance insights, and successful initiatives with Regional Managers and Field Operations partners.
  • Ensure timely completion of reports, expenses, and administrative requirements.
