About The Position

At Hitachi Energy, purpose drives everything we do. Our Market Management System (MMS) teams build advanced software that electricity market operators rely on to manage, optimize, and operate some of the world’s largest and most complex power networks. In this role, you will join a highly specialized Quality Assurance team focused on validating mission‑critical software that supports real‑time energy markets, grid security, and optimization. Your work will directly influence system reliability, performance, and customer success. You’ll collaborate with engineers, domain experts, and global teams to test sophisticated solutions across data management, network modeling, optimization, and operational control. Requirements

Advanced degree (MTech / ME or PhD) in Electrical Engineering
Academic or practical experience in power systems optimization
Knowledge of power system modeling, analysis, or optimization methods
Experience with software testing, scripting, or automation (e.g., Python)
Familiarity with Linux, Windows, or similar operating systems
Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently
