About The Position

The Market Leader Trainee role is an exciting, fast-paced position within 7-Eleven, a global leader in convenience retail. This role typically involves leading a group of 8-10 Area Leaders who are responsible for approximately 100-150 stores. The Market Leader will assist and counsel Area Leaders and Store Operators (store managers and franchisees) in the daily operations of their stores, with the primary goal of maximizing sales and gross profit. This position is considered a key change agent within a dynamic and evolving business environment. The company offers a comprehensive 12-month training program designed to ensure the success of participants in this highly visible role, with potential for diverse career paths within the organization. A company vehicle will be provided for business use upon appointment to a market.

Requirements

5-10 years of related experience including P&L responsibility
BS/BA degree
Experience with multi-unit management for both company ops and franchise ops: small box: 100-150 stores or big box: 15-50 stores
Strong experience with retail merchandising, preferably in the C-Store and foodservice industries
Ability to travel within the assigned region with overnight travel approximately 25% of the time
Ability to relocate as needed for this role
Must be fully relocatable to be considered for areas of Philadelphia, King of Prussia, PA & Trenton, NJ.

Nice To Haves

MBA preferred
Previous multi-unit management experience is preferred
Enjoy working as a multi-unit operations manager or regional manager
