About The Position

R+L Carriers is seeking a Market Investigator. This individual’s primary responsibility is to utilize software tools, data analysis, and investigative skills to identify, resolve, and prevent freight exceptions and losses. As well as to maintain consistent and professional communication across various levels of management and business departments. As the Market Investigator you will proactively identify and communicate opportunities for improving procedures and best practices. Conduct audits to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. Also assists in developing and refining processes to enhance incident response times, improve incident analysis, and strengthen overall investigations.

Requirements

• Experience in Security/Loss Prevention/investigation
• Senior level investigation and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal / written communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of management
• The ability to self-start, prioritize and multi-task while working independently
• Ability to identify critical issues with workable resolutions
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of Windows, Microsoft outlook, Microsoft excel and Microsoft word
• Occasional travel
• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• 3 years of Security/Loss Prevention/Investigation experience
• Familiarity with VMS, Access control and Case Management systems
