About The Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to support the development of a new business tracking and reporting capability focused on key performance indicators (KPIs) across commercial operations. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, particularly field sales, to help establish consistent data collection processes, improve reporting accuracy, and generate actionable insights that support business decision-making. This is a high-visibility opportunity to contribute to an important strategic initiative and gain hands-on experience in business operations and analytics.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree at an accredited college or university
- Freshman or Sophomore standing in a 4-year degree program
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interest in business operations, analytics, or data reporting
Nice To Haves
- experience with Power BI or similar tools is a plus
- Interest in commercial strategy, operations, or market intelligence
Responsibilities
- Support the development of a centralized tracking and reporting framework
- Assist in defining and documenting KPI tracking and reporting processes
- Help build templates, tools, and dashboards for data collection and reporting
- Partner with field sales teams to collect relevant business data
- Ensure timely, accurate, and consistent submission of required information
- Serve as a liaison between sales, marketing, and strategy teams
- Track performance against defined KPIs and success metrics
- Support creation of weekly and monthly dashboards and reports
- Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities based on data analysis
- Analyze data and generate actionable insights and recommendations
- Prepare clear summaries for leadership review
- Support continuous improvement of reporting processes
- Identify inefficiencies in data collection and reporting workflows
- Recommend improvements to enhance accuracy, scalability, and usability
