About The Position

KBC Advisors is seeking a Market Intelligence Analyst to support its Nashville, Tennessee team. The role connects brokerage, research, analyst, and technology efforts by using real estate data and on-the-ground intelligence to deliver insights that support better decisions and strategies for the team and its clients. The analyst collaborates across teams to identify trends and opportunities and develops tools that strengthen the company’s platform and results. The position serves as a trusted resource for research, data, and insights; supports business development research and deliverables; manages data platforms and tools; and tracks industrial market activity. It also translates complex information into actionable perspectives and client-facing reports, communicates emerging market developments, and works with industry contacts and internal data, technology, and GIS teams to develop proprietary insights, dashboards, visualizations, and improved data processes. The role may also support marketing and other team projects, with an emphasis on collaboration and flexibility. The expected annual base salary is $75,000–$90,000+, with actual compensation determined by experience, qualifications, and geographic location. The role may also be eligible for bonuses or other incentive compensation and a benefits package including health coverage, retirement plans, and paid time off, subject to eligibility requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required; a related field such as Real Estate, Data Science, or Business is preferred.
At least 2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to uncover trends, interpret data, and translate findings into meaningful insights.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in data analysis, database management, and modeling.
Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborative, curious, hands-on approach, with willingness to take ownership, execute, and continuously learn.
Driven, results-oriented attitude and demonstrated grit.

Nice To Haves

Previous commercial real estate experience.
Knowledge of commercial real estate markets and interest in the trends and factors that drive real estate decisions.
Curiosity and enthusiasm for AI and emerging technologies, with interest in applying new tools to improve research, analysis, and production.
Financial modeling experience.

Responsibilities

Act as a thought leader and trusted resource by delivering research, data, and insights that support, shape, and drive strategy and decision-making.
Collaborate with the production team on business development research, reports, insights, and target market deliverables.
Lead the build-out, expansion, and ongoing management of team data platforms, databases, and tools.
Track and analyze industrial market activity, data, news, and key indicators.
Translate complex data into actionable insights, forward-looking market perspectives, and client-facing reports and presentations.
Communicate market activity, news, trends, and emerging opportunities to the team and clients.
Collaborate with brokers, landlords, developers, lenders, appraisers, and other industry professionals to source and develop proprietary market insight and data.
Work with data, technology, and Location Intelligence (GIS) teams to develop dashboards, data visualizations, and tools for capturing, analyzing, and presenting market intelligence.
Drive data standardization, management, and delivery processes across team objectives.
Use the research role to support marketing initiatives and other core team projects.
Contribute to an all-hands team environment by stepping in where needed and supporting shared success.
