About The Position

Define short and middle-term goals and strategies for IPS products promotion within the American key Automotive customers under his/her responsibility, with particular attention to the emerging EV customers who have the highest available serviceable market. Collaborate with IPS business unit and commercial marketing teams on price policy and strategy, margin optimization and forecast planning. Analyze competition and define and submit the strategy for product roadmap, customers to target and new IPs needed. Verify alignment with the main KPIs (budget, the target number of new customers and the target number of new opportunities) through daily calls and meetings with key stakeholders. Define corrective actions within ST and partners, after monthly and quarterly meetings, if the KPIs are not aligned with the target such as strategic meetings with the Automotive Sales Unit and key customers targeting the promotion of selected products, review of design-in activity and identification of possible issues which could affect the key projects for IPS within these customers. Review design activities for IPS with our Sales and applications team discussing the opportunities, design windows, and following up on the activity with sales managers and representatives. Verify and decide the delivery of materials to stakeholders on a daily or weekly basis including new product launches, new evaluation, boards, or products with specific campaigns. Correct the product strategy, when needed, based on considerations such as market size, market needs, market trends including focusing product strategy on the migration from 12V to 48V of the automotive power distribution systems. Align with colleagues in other regions, matching the product strategy with the market requests in the Region America, adapting the content of product presentations, eventually eliminating unnecessary material that does not fit our customers" needs. Drive the content for specific trainings to our Sales team, in line with market trends and requests. 25% domestic and international travel required.

Requirements

  • Master's degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering
  • 10 years of experience in implementing Automotive Power Systems Architecture and semiconductor-based Intelligent Power Switches
  • Utilizing Automotive Power Distribution systems, Automotive Body Electronics, Power Management architecture, with special focus on Zonal architecture, BEV, and 48V Boardnet
  • Utilizing Automotive electrical wire harness protection, electrical load management, through Intelligent Power Switches, Electronic Fuses, and High Side Drivers
  • Performing data analysis and decision making using MS Excel
  • Performing professional grade presentations using MS Powerpoint
  • Utilizing intelligent Power Switches, Electronic Fuses, and High Side Drivers electrothermal simulation tool
  • Delivering analog intellectual property (IP) for mobile applications, monitoring and controlling all aspects of circuit design and validation, coordinating design activities, managing project schedules, ensuring that the delivered IP meets quality and performance requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and supporting the integration of the IP into customer products.
