This role is responsible for various warehouse operations including unloading and receiving inbound shipments, staging items for delivery, loading outbound freight, product assembly, and pre-delivery inspections. The associate will also maintain a clean and safe work environment, operate recycling equipment, and participate in sustainability programs. Key duties include daily inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, audits, adjustments, and reporting, as well as managing all functions within the Warehouse Management System (WMS). The role involves generating and monitoring reports, utilizing systems like MS Office and Blue Yonder, and executing the Return to Manufacturer (RTM) program. Additionally, the associate will process and disposition damaged, discontinued, defective, special order, and canceled merchandise, secure return authorizations, and submit credits. Communication with third-party logistics (3PL) partners to resolve delivery claims and maintaining relationships with vendors and other internal teams are also crucial. The role requires resolving customer and cargo issues and ensuring claims are updated in Lowe’s systems.
