The Food Trust works with neighborhoods, institutions, retailers, farmers, and policymakers across the country to ensure delicious, nutritious food for all. Backed by three decades of research and evaluation, our holistic, community-centered approach to nutrition security weaves together three core programming elements — access, affordability and education — as well as a focus on advocating for public policy solutions. The Food Trust is seeking energetic, community-focused Farmers Market Coordinators to support our farmers markets and community work across Philadelphia. This is a seasonal, per diem (as-needed) role that plays a key part in creating welcoming, vibrant market spaces that connect communities to fresh, healthy food. In this role, you will help bring our mission—delicious, nutritious food for all—to life by supporting day-of market operations, engaging directly with community members, and helping ensure markets run smoothly and successfully. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, connecting with people, and supporting community-based programs that increase food access.
