About The Position

Brock University is seeking a Marker-Grader for the FNCE 2P50 Fall D2 course. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group. The role involves marking assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams, and providing written feedback to students. The marker-grader may also be expected to invigilate mid-terms and examinations or enter grades into databases upon request from the course instructor. Requirements

• Proven competency in the subject area, including a minimum of 80% in the course being applied for (or equivalent) and an overall average of 80%.
• Excellent English Language Skills.
• Academic Integrity and Professionalism.
• Proven track record of working effectively and completing assigned tasks in a timely manner.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Marker/Grader experience would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams.
• Provide written feedback to students that clearly identifies the basis of the grade assigned, including substantive content, written communications, spelling, punctuation, grammar, and overall structure and organization.
• Invigilate mid-terms and examinations for the course, at the request of the course instructor.
• Enter grades into databases, at the request of the course instructor.
