Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marine Safety, Business, or a related field
3+ years of position-relevant experience
Proficiency in maritime safety regulations and USCG standards
Must possess active Public Trust clearance

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in a related field
7+ years of position-relevant experience
Experience with international standards for vessel berthing and husbanding

Responsibilities

Drafts and develops Maritime Risk Assessment Plans and safety documentation for senior review and validation
Maintains detailed records of vessel safety certifications and facilitates communication between the prime contractor and insurance partners
Prepares routine reports on maritime risk metrics and safety performance for Mission Partners
Develops and maintains standard operating procedures for managing maritime pollution prevention and safety compliance
Facilitates the coordination of vessel inspections and ensure all maritime platforms are seaworthy and properly manned
Prepares risk status updates for inclusion in the unclassified document library and management portal
Takes direction, guidance, and mentoring from more senior staff
