About The Position
This is a fixed term assignment where you will join the Marine team in Operations Catchment Services. In this role, you will apply technical expertise in marine environments, modelling, and data analysis to support evidence-based decisions. The team assesses the impact of discharges on water quality across key work areas, including Nuclear New Build, major infrastructure projects, and the Water Industry National Environment Programme. The team also models bathing water quality and nutrient loads in estuaries. As a team of water quality specialists and officers, you will work collaboratively, sharing skills and building strong relationships with customers to ensure they understand and trust the advice provided.
Requirements
- Experience of assessing the impacts of discharges on estuarine and coastal water quality
- Experience in marine environments, modelling, and data analysis
- Technical leadership capabilities
