About The Position
Ron Hoover RV & Marine Centers is looking for an experienced Boat Technician to join our team in La Marque, TX. This role involves diagnosing and repairing boat engines and mechanical components, installing and repairing accessories such as GPS systems, trolling motors, sound systems, electronics, and lighting. The technician will also perform inspections, maintenance, testing, and water-readiness checks, and complete repair orders and documentation accurately and professionally. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment is also a key responsibility.
Requirements
- Previous Marine Technician experience required
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Knowledge of electrical, rigging, fuel, and hydraulic systems
- Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Certifications a plus
