About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Marine Technician to join our service team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of marine engines and systems. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for working on the water.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a marine technician or in a related mechanical field
• Knowledge of marine engines and systems (Mercury, Yamaha, etc. preferred)
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and service equipment
• Basic computer skills for service documentation
• Valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

• Marine certification (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair marine engines (inboard, outboard, and sterndrive systems)
• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tune-ups, and winterization
• Troubleshoot electrical, fuel, and cooling systems
• Install and repair marine accessories and components
• Conduct pre-delivery inspections on new units
• Accurately document work performed and parts used
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers as needed
