About The Position

The Marine Service Technician performs service and warranty repairs on boats, motors, trailers, and ATVs in a timely and efficient manner according to manufacturer specifications. The role troubleshoots mechanical and electrical issues, installs accessories, performs rigging as needed, and communicates with customers about technical questions and recommendations. The technician water-tests units with customers to verify repairs and explain product operation, and maintains a clean, professional work area. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of electrical systems and wiring.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, associates, and customers.
• Ability to lift up to and in excess of 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors.
• Provide own tools.

Nice To Haves

• Higher-level technical certifications preferred.

Responsibilities
