About The Position

FlexForce Pros is seeking an experienced Marine Electrical Service Technician to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems on older vessels. This is a hands-on role for someone who can diagnose issues without relying on schematics and work independently in the field. A company truck will be provided.

Requirements

• High School Education or GED required
• Strong background in marine electrical service & repair (not just new construction)
• Proven troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently
• Experience with generators, VFDs, MCCs, and control systems
• Comfortable working without drawings or with limited documentation
• Reliable, hands-on, and problem-solver mindset
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods
• Ability to lift 40 pounds regularly without assistance
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Comfortable working in a refinery environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair marine electrical systems with little to no documentation
• Service generators, switchboards, VFDs, MCCs, and motor controls
• Work on legacy systems and real-world field issues
• Perform repairs safely and efficiently on active vessels
