Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Electricians for projects located in the Alameda, CA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $36/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a marine or industrial electrician
- Experience with high voltage electrical systems
- OSHA 10 Martime and firewatch certifications
- Respirator fit certification
- Pass a drug screen
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, test, repair, and maintain marine and industrial electrical systems
- Work with high voltage systems
- Service 480V and 208V AC 3-phase systems
- Use testing equipment such as meggers, VOMs, and amp meters
- Perform operational testing of electrical equipment
- Interpreting schematic diagrams and technical manuals
- Create hand-drawn diagrams of disconnected or removed electrical equipment
