About The Position

Doug Russell Marine is seeking a Marine/Automotive/RV Service Advisor who is a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and well-organized individual capable of coordinating the service work for customer boats and watercraft. This is a Monday through Friday, full time, year round position. The Service Advisor is the “go to” person at Doug Russell Marine when a customer drops off or picks up for service and is usually the point of contact throughout the service process. Ideal Candidate will be a boating enthusiast with a friendly and positive disposition and a strong knowledge of boats and boat systems.

Responsibilities

Developing relationships with customers through successful management of service and product delivery
Developing cost estimates
Scheduling and tracking repairs
Documenting work to be performed and work that has been completed
Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
Building trust, educating customers, and framing recommendations around boating, safety, and longevity
Listen to customer concerns and accurately document them
Schedule appointments and maintain the service schedule
Communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
Prepare accurate estimates for repairs
Process payments and handle cash transactions
Provide updates to customers on the status of their repairs
Maintain a clean and organized work area
