The Marine Administrator will provide administrative support to Marine Operations, focusing on duties within this department.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Familiarity with Marine Industries.
  • Strong customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Maintain a high level of organization, detailed oriented and meet deadlines.
  • Handle multiple tasks/projects at one time.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships as required by job responsibility.
  • Listen effectively, assess the situation, determine relevant issues, & suggest solutions.
  • Have a working knowledge of computer skills, including but not limited to proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Must be able to effectively understand and convey written and verbal information to coworkers and guests.
  • Maintain uniform and personal grooming in compliance with appearance standards.
  • Will be required to be available for work nights, weekends and on all major holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Completing Invoices and Purchase Orders.
  • Upkeep and organization of logs, forms, and paperwork on all vessels and in all facilities.
  • Utilization of all marine tracking systems provided by the company.
  • Assisting with training, payroll, scheduling, and other tasks regarding the Marine Department.
  • Maintaining records and upkeep of all safety equipment inventory.
  • Various administrative tasks during Dept. meetings, ie. taking of meeting minutes, following up on action items.
  • Assist with updating vessel and facility security plans, status logs, and needed updates.
  • Purchasing and delivering supplies as needed: ordering, supply runs, movement of supplies.
  • Creation and upkeep of vendor lists for parts and suppliers.
  • Record, log, and track work order requests.
  • Accurately complete all documentation including payroll, time sheets, revenue reports, paperwork and invoices on a timely basis.
  • Know and understand internal policies and external regulatory requirements that relate to your position and department.
  • Additional job duties as assigned.
