About The Position

As the MarComms & Brand Assistant, you will support CFMA’s editorial, email, and digital marketing workflows, helping ensure content is produced, reviewed, and distributed efficiently across platforms. Working closely with the Director, Communications and cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the production of CFMA Building Profits magazine, execute email campaigns, and maintain brand consistency across all communications. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1–3 years of experience in communications, marketing, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with HubSpot or similar email/CRM platforms
  • Experience with Canva or similar design tools
  • Familiarity with project management tools (monday.com preferred)
  • Familiarity with Adobe products (InDesign preferred)

Nice To Haves

  • Association or nonprofit experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support production of CFMA Building Profits magazine from article confirmation through final proofing
  • Track contributors, manage deadlines, and ensure accuracy, style, and quality standards
  • Assist with digital production across CFMA platforms, including BP Online
  • Draft, build, and schedule email campaigns using HubSpot
  • Manage stakeholder reviews, revisions, and approvals from start to send
  • Support marketing campaigns through content proofing and asset creation
  • Create visual assets using Canva
  • Maintain and ensure consistent use of CFMA’s Style Guide
  • Proofread communications and marketing materials
  • Manage attribution requests, article reprints, and award submissions
  • Provide administrative support to CFMA committees and initiatives
  • Track tasks, timelines, and approvals using monday.com
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy and organization across projects
