Part Time Manufacturing Worker
About The Position
PHD is seeking a dependable and flexible Part-Time Manufacturing Worker to support various areas of our manufacturing operation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, staying active, and helping wherever needed. This position may assist with various manufacturing tasks, including but not limited to stock assembly of actuator components in our manufacturing facility. This is an entry-level position with on-the-job training provided. This position offers a highly flexible schedule within our operating hours of 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Monday through Friday. Employees may choose their preferred days and hours worked within business needs and scheduling guidelines. This is an excellent opportunity for retirees, college students, parents with flexible availability, or anyone seeking supplemental part-time work.
Requirements
- Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing tasks
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform light-to-moderate physical work
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally
- Ability to work up to 29 hours a week
Nice To Haves
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, or shipping experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist with for-stock and for-order assembly and other entry-level manufacturing tasks
- Package and prepare products for shipment
- Perform product testing and inspection tasks as assigned
- Help maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
- Assist with miscellaneous shop support and special projects based on operational needs
- Follow all company safety and quality standards
