No matter what stage of your career, you can build your future at Tempur Sealy! The Unit Builder works in teams of 2 people. Two of them lift an encased coil spring mattress assembly, up to 50 pounds or more, from the conveyor and place it onto the waist high table. The semi-rigid foam pieces which are pre-cut are inserted into the perimeter of the spring assembly and are hot glued together. The process is repeated approximately 30 times per hour for a 2-person team. May also be asked to perform other duties, as required by supervisor.

Requirements

Must be able to lift 50 pounds with and without help
Ability to work at a fast pace
Must be team oriented
Good upper body strength to lift components of mattress
Ability to stand / walk for entire shift
Must be able to work flexible hours, including mandatory overtime on occasion

Responsibilities

Lift an encased coil spring mattress assembly, up to 50 pounds or more, from the conveyor and place it onto a waist-high table.
Insert pre-cut semi-rigid foam pieces into the perimeter of the spring assembly.
Hot glue foam pieces together.
Perform other duties as required by supervisor.
