About The Position

Raytheon is seeking a Value Stream Lead for the Andover Front End of the Business Factory team. This senior leadership role oversees the Auto Insert, Wave, Prep, and Kitting work centers and manages end-to-end value stream processes to meet customer requirements. The role is responsible for operational excellence, timely delivery of high-quality products, and performance in efficiency, quality, safety, and cost. The position requires daily collaboration with technical support, manufacturing and design engineering, maintenance, production control, finance, and Integrated Product Teams. The Value Stream Lead will also guide the team through rapid growth, process migration, and the release of new capital to production. The position is onsite in Andover, Massachusetts, and requires U.S. citizenship and an active existing DoD Confidential clearance after day one.

Requirements

Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and at least 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and at least 7 years of experience.
Experience in one or more of the following: engineering, manufacturing, process improvement, operations, supply chain, production control, or quality.
U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.
An active and existing DoD Confidential security clearance is required after day one.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Interpersonal skills to manage work spanning operations, production control, engineering, supply chain, and customer relations.
High computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
Familiarity with Raytheon systems such as PRISM, PDM, and VBS.
EVMS certification.

Responsibilities

Lead the Auto Insert, Wave, Prep, and Kitting work centers in alignment with business objectives, customer commitments, and operational targets.
Develop and execute production schedules, capacity plans, workforce plans, and resource allocations to meet demand and optimize productivity and costs.
Manage, mentor, and develop operators, engineers, and technical support staff while fostering collaboration and accountability.
Identify and implement Lean principles, CORE methodologies, and other practices to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
Ensure compliance with internal processes and procedures, quality standards, and external customer requirements.
Collaborate with engineering, production control, quality, and other cross-business teams to resolve issues, improve processes, and drive innovation.
Monitor and report KPIs, including safety, on-time delivery, yield, cycle time, Unit Hour performance, COPQ, and customer satisfaction.
Identify and mitigate risks involving production schedules, yield issues, and technical challenges.
Serve as the primary interface with internal NHA customers, ensuring clear communication and alignment on expectations.
Lead the team through rapid growth, process migration, and new capital release to production.
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities using CORE and Lean methodologies to achieve or exceed safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
