About The Position

Dee Zee, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Manufacturing Training Intern to support our operational and safety training programs. This internship will run approximately June 1 through September 3, 2027, with flexibility to adjust the start and end dates based on the selected candidate's availability. This internship offers hands-on experience with learning management systems, safety compliance, and workforce training while contributing directly to employee readiness on the plant floor. Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Industrial Technology, Occupational Safety, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Interest in manufacturing operations, workforce training, or safety compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with databases or LMS platforms is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively across teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration and data management in the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Track and analyze training records to identify lapses in certifications or required training coverage.
• Support plant safety training initiatives, including scheduling, recordkeeping, and compliance documentation.
• Participate in weekly orientation sessions for new employees.
• Help maintain training databases and generate reports for the training team.
• Provide support on special projects related to safety and manufacturing training programs.
