About The Position

BWXT's Advanced Technologies (AT) group researches, designs, and develops innovative new nuclear reactors, nuclear rocket propulsion systems, and radioisotope production systems for both internal and external customers. This is a Summer 2027 internship opportunity where innovative thinking is fostered and barrier-free teamwork is embraced every day. As a Manufacturing Development Intern, you will support the team by assisting with the development and implementation of unique engineering solutions.

Requirements

• Must be a currently enrolled student, pursuing a degree in engineering or physics.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver unique engineering solutions used in a nuclear environment.
• Create/Update drawings and procedures, design, test, analyze, manage project(s), and procure materials as needed.
