The Manufacturing Training Coordinator will be responsible for creating training schedules, tracking training outcomes, and maintaining training records for the company. This role involves training new hires on company policies and procedures, identifying training needs, and staying updated on new training methods. The coordinator will also recruit and train new trainers, market training opportunities, and manage the training budget. Additionally, they will lead a team of instructors to design, develop, and deliver technical training programs, consult with stakeholders, and ensure training transfer on the job. This includes designing training programs with pre-work, lectures, hands-on exercises, post-work, exams, and on-the-job training plans. The role also involves assisting in the development of the organization's training strategy, including technical and non-technical training, onboarding, and product-related training. They will help develop a quarterly and annual technical training calendar, implement a Train-The-Trainer certification program, and establish technical skill assessment tools. The coordinator will develop standard work for team learning and development, manage technical learning centers, and apply Adult Learning Theory, eLearning, and blended learning methods. They will develop an eLearning strategy for technical training and leverage the Learning Management System (LMS) for global training initiatives. Continuous improvement projects to enhance training quality and effectiveness, and maintaining training records for compliance with audits and regulatory requirements are also key responsibilities. The role requires the ability to explain and demonstrate operations and procedures to operators.
