We are looking for a Manufacturing Training Coordinator to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to Manufacturing Trainer and based in Newark, DE. This is a fully on-site, in office role 4 days a week.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a Manufacturing or operations/materials management role
  • 1+ years of experience in On-the-Job training using the JIT (Job Instruction Training) methodology
  • Strong organization skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to collaborate cross functionally to complete initiatives
  • Strong verbal, listening, presentation and written communications skills
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrates competency in written and verbal English communications to understand safety protocols, hazard communications, and standard operational procedures (SOPs) required to ensure the safety of the employee and others on the manufacturing floor

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and in person training experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Assembly Skills training for manufacturing team members
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement ideas for the skills training center
  • Identify future skills training needs and work with the team to develop new training courses for skills training center
  • Maintain skills matrix and training records for team members (training document control)
  • Work with the production team to develop cross-training plans for manufacturing team members and support additional skills training as needed
  • Coordinate on-the-job training for new process training (new hire or cross-training)
  • Conduct training audits monthly
  • Work with production team to create and conduct on-the-floor lean trainings
  • Support Lean Training curriculum
  • Other duties as assigned
