About The Position

VEGA Americas is hiring a Manufacturing Trainer for its growing Training department. The role facilitates technical training for customers and employees, both in person and virtually, and supports consistent, high-quality course delivery throughout each course’s life cycle. The position requires overnight travel across the United States approximately 50% of the time. When not traveling, the employee works on-site at VEGA Americas’ headquarters in Mason, Ohio.

The trainer maintains technical knowledge of VEGA products and the industry, mentors fellow instructors, and uses participant feedback and program results to improve training. VEGA Americas manufactures, distributes, and services process instrumentation used to measure level, density, weight, and pressure. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, or business-related field, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of instructor-based experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate instructor-led and virtual technical training courses for customers and employees.
• Continuously enhance technical instructional delivery and presentation skills.
• Mentor other instructors on subject matter, content, and course delivery techniques for assigned technical courses.
• Ensure the quality and consistency of course content throughout the course life cycle.
• Facilitate training programs in accordance with business needs, regulatory requirements, and the Quality Management System.
• Maintain technical knowledge by participating in VEGA product and industry educational training opportunities.
• Report data on completed courses, issues, and absences.
• Evaluate program and training effectiveness by listening to feedback and making improvements as necessary.
• Work with fellow instructors to support consistent delivery, ongoing support, learning, and mentoring, while demonstrating team spirit and a strong work ethic.
