About The Position

Hyve Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Trainer to support its growing operations team and 2nd shift crew. The role develops employees, delivers training programs, reinforces standard work practices, and ensures associates gain the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The trainer partners with Operations Managers and Team Leads to identify departmental training needs; provides onboarding, cross-training, skills development, and refresher training; and maintains knowledge of operational processes. The role also develops and maintains training materials, evaluates training effectiveness, coaches and assesses trainees, supports workforce training initiatives, monitors progress, and keeps accurate training records. Throughout these activities, the trainer promotes safety, quality, productivity, continuous learning, accountability, and employee development.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience conducting training in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment.
Previous experience as a Trainer, Process Assistant, Lead, or in a similar role.
Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to train groups and individuals.
Ability to assess comprehension and adapt training methods to individual learning needs.
Ability to provide constructive feedback and follow through on action items.
Demonstrated record of meeting performance expectations and operating with a high level of accountability.
Understanding of upstream and downstream process impacts within a production environment.
Prior teaching, coaching, mentoring, or instructional experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Experience using productivity software, training tools, and presentation applications.
Ability to create and maintain training documentation and reports.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

Manufacturing, electronics assembly, or high-volume production experience.
Experience supporting onboarding and cross-functional workforce development programs.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, or standardized work practices.

Responsibilities

Partner with Operations Managers and Team Leads to identify and execute departmental training requirements.
Deliver onboarding, cross-training, skills development, and refresher training for manufacturing associates.
Maintain working knowledge of operational processes and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Develop, refine, and maintain training materials, visual aids, work instructions, checklists, and learning tools.
Evaluate training effectiveness and verify employee understanding through observations, coaching, and skills assessments.
Support peak and non-peak workforce training initiatives to ensure operational readiness.
Monitor trainee progress and provide insights, coaching feedback, and recommendations to area managers.
Promote safety, quality, and productivity standards throughout training activities.
Track training completion and maintain accurate training documentation and records.
Foster a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and employee development.
