Manufacturing Trainee (Machinist 1)

Our Waukesha location has an opening for a 2nd or 3rd shift Manufacturing Trainee (Machinist) position. This is an entry-level role that requires NO EXPERIENCE in manufacturing. The starting pay for this position is $21/hour plus $1/hour shift differential. Employees are eligible for two, 50-cent increases over the first year if they pass the competency assessments. Requirements

- Ability to meet physical requirements of the job, including but not limited to Lifting up to 30 lbs., Infrequent pushing/pulling of cart, Positioning material with the assistance of carts and overhead cranes, Standing/walking up to 8 hours per shift, Vision abilities include close vision in the inspection of the work
Responsibilities
- Learn multiple aspects of our unique manufacturing process.
- Become certified to operate a sit down forklift.
- Learn and become proficient with inventory management system.
