About The Position
The Isocyanurate Technology Leader develops and improves the polyisocyanurate insulation board manufacturing process in Amrize’s ISO facilities. This role designs and implements machinery and process improvements, resolves production issues, supports quality and process-improvement teams, and provides technical assistance and training to production personnel. It also supports collaboration across business functions and may require travel to plant and vendor sites, including during plant shutdowns. The role is remote and may be based in one of the listed states or locations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 12 years of directly related isocyanurate machinery experience.
- Experience with capital project execution, installation, and commissioning.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed, up to 50%, to plant and vendor sites; visits may take place during plant shutdown periods.
- Adhere to safety protocols and properly use Amrize-approved personal protective equipment, including respirators when required. Employees required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face to pass fit testing.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; climb ladders and railcar platforms; lift and carry hoses; kneel, bend, reach, and stoop.
- Ability to perform periodic prolonged sitting and data analysis work.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement isocyanurate insulation foam machinery and processes to improve product quality and efficiency.
- Identify and resolve production issues related to equipment and processes.
- Analyze and improve existing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Maintain technical documentation and records concerning equipment, processes, and improvements.
- Research and maintain a library of equipment technologies and suppliers.
- Provide technical assistance and training to production personnel.
- Participate on teams focused on quality and process improvement for polyiso insulation board product lines.
- Visit equipment suppliers to support new equipment construction or investigate new equipment technologies.
- Support business value streams to encourage collaboration, resolve issues effectively, and facilitate business initiatives as needed.
- Communicate, improve, and adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies; promote a culture of safety.
