Manufacturing Technician
About The Position

Production Test Technician: Perform basic set-up, calibration and testing, computer assembly, component insertion, and software installation Responsible for product hardware and software configuration work Refurbish product including repack, reimage, dissemble, reassemble, and clean product. Test and troubleshoot desktop, laptop, monitor and computer related accessories. Assist in developing test specifications from outlined written requirements or procedures, blueprints, drawings and diagrams Complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing Prepare technical reports. May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment. Assist with customer technical support when required Provide product specification, product configuration and details of service offerings to both internal associates and SYNNEX customers when required Assist with bench repair work (repair PC, laptop, LCD monitor) @ HYVE Solutions , we believe employees are our greatest asset and we empower them to make a difference in our business. Requirements
- 1+ year related experience with electronics and computer related product and peripheral equipment
- Assembling computer and configuration of peripheral equipment
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to complete the required technical training certification in order to get authorized as Service/Product test provider
- Ability to read, comprehend and implement test procedures from written documentation
- Ability to review test procedures and understand failure analysis
- Must be able to effectively work within a team environment
- Meet weightlifting requirement of up to 35 lbs. on a regular basis
- Be able to stand for long periods of time
- Be able to work with precision tolling in small places
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
