Position Summary The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for setting up and operating equipment to mix or blend specified raw materials to be used in dietary supplement products.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • 0+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Able to follow SOPs, GMPs, and Batch Records.
  • Able to follow directions and communicate information both written and verbally.
  • Able to use basic math calculations and operate a calculator.
  • Able to disassemble and reassemble equipment.
  • Works collaboratively in a positive team environment.
  • Work is performed in a manufacturing environment requiring appropriate PPE at all times, including lab coats, glasses, gloves, hair and beard nets, and closed-toe shoes.
  • Work near moving mechanical parts with occasional exposure to fumes, powder, or airborne particles.
  • Exposure to changes in temperature and humidity.
  • Must be able to wear and properly utilize a respirator, including compliance with fit testing and training requirements.
  • Regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms above and below shoulder height.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds repetitively and handle up to 100-pound drums occasionally.
  • Required to regularly stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, and walk for long periods.
  • Required to climb ladders, use balance, and work on elevated platforms up to 20 feet.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature fluctuations.

  • As a Manufacturing Technician, you may participate in our structured Training Cell Program, which is designed to build your skills and certifications progressively across our manufacturing operations. Each cell includes up to three proficiency levels, with advancement based on demonstrated skill, time in position, and performance against production standards. Training cells available to Manufacturing Technicians include Weigh Room, Blending, Compression, Encapsulation, and Coating. Each covers the equipment, documentation, and quality standards specific to that area. Your manager will track your progression and guide you through the process when you get started. As you advance through the levels, you may be eligible for pay increases that reflect your growing skill set and contributions to the team. More details will be shared during onboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Reads, understands, and follows batch record.
  • Prepares and mixes bulk powder materials in strict accordance with company formulation, quality standards, and production schedules under supervision.
  • Discharges bulk material into containers.
  • Operates, assembles/disassembles, and cleans all primary and auxiliary equipment and associated rooms.
  • Completes the performed-by portion of batch records and other paperwork as needed, with thorough understanding.
  • Performs all tasks related to the following equipment in compliance with cGMPs, SOPs, and Batch Records: Oscillator Rota Cone Blender PK V Blender (10, 20, and 30) Smico Sifter
  • Ensures room has been released by Quality Assurance as indicated on the Equipment Use / Maintenance Cleaning Log and makes appropriate entries.
  • Works with supervisors, leads, and trainers to verify all procedures have been followed.
  • Performs all duties according to written SOPs and in compliance with cGMPs, 21 CFR Part 111.
  • Maintains a clean, neat work area, removing trash and sweeping as necessary.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

As a Manufacturing Technician scheduled to work at least 30 hours per week, you are eligible to participate. The program provides milestone-based bonus payments tied to your continued employment and satisfactory performance throughout your first year. To receive each payment, you must be actively employed on the milestone date and on the date payment is processed. Bonus payments are subject to applicable tax withholding. You are not required to submit a separate form to receive payment. HR will track eligibility and milestone dates, and your manager may be asked to confirm your performance standing before each payment is issued. Employees who separate from employment or are placed under formal corrective action before a milestone date will not earn the unpaid portion of the bonus. Once a bonus installment has been earned and paid, it is not subject to repayment unless otherwise required by a separate written agreement. New Generation Wellness reserves the right to modify or discontinue this program at any time, subject to applicable law.
