GE Aerospace is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Manufacturing Technician to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will play a critical part in assembling and testing electro-mechanical systems that meet rigorous military specifications. Your expertise will ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and precision in every step of the manufacturing process.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED; IPC-A-610 Certification.
  • 1-3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a self-directed teaming environment.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, interpreting specifications and drawings, performing inspections, and basic computer skills.
  • Strong dexterity and hand-eye coordination are essential.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.
  • Ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).

Responsibilities

  • Execute complex manufacturing processes, including electro-mechanical system setup, cable assembly, and machine profile adjustments, ensuring compliance with military specifications.
  • Interpret and follow written specifications, operation sheets, and visual instructions to deliver high-quality products.
  • Maintain meticulous records of tests, quality checks, and specification data to ensure traceability and compliance.
  • Train and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and self-directed work environment.
  • Utilize small tools, measuring devices, and production equipment to perform tasks with precision and care.
  • Uphold safety standards and maintain a clean, organized workstation.
