The Assembler is a position that proactively supports our Production Manager, Sales Directors and others. Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of microscope experience.
  • Valid driver's license, satisfactory drug testing and background check required.
  • High school graduate, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork and leadership skills.
  • Ability to follow detailed technical instructions.
  • Demonstrated success with maintaining quality control and data management.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new technology, software, & professional practices.
  • Able to communicate updates and work-related progress to upper management both written and verbal.
  • Ability to pass preplacement physical.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years preferred microscope experience.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect assembled and sub assembly products with use of a microscope.
  • Bench top assembly of coated optics using adhesives and drawings for product assembly.
  • Assemble electronic and optical devices and components.
  • Use basic electronic assembly tools, hand power equipment, and various electronic test equipment to perform troubleshooting, testing and repairs of electronic and optical equipment.
  • Ability to understand and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, prints, and bills of materials.
  • Knowledge of working with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel &Word).
  • Inspect and rework defective sub-assemblies.
  • Meet a level of productivity as determined by management.
