About The Position

As an Optical Manufacturing Associate, you'll play an integral role in our production team. Based on department needs, your duties may include tasks such as:
Bench/Mounters: Inserting lenses into frames, edging, beveling, tinting, and ensuring lenses meet correct power, axis, and prism standards.
Inspection: Checking frames and lenses for cosmetic and optical defects using ANSI standards.
Surface: Using state of the art CNC optical machinery. Handling lens surface processes like taping, blocking, generating, coating, and polishing.
AR Department: Operating state of the art Anti Reflective Coating Machinery, sorting and inspecting lenses, and ensuring they meet quality standards.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is needed
• Precision and accuracy are paramount in this role
• Intermittent focused effort, coupled with organizational and planning skills
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Ability to read and write English proficiently
• Detail-oriented
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Continuous walking, standing, or sitting (depending on station)
• Flexibility is key – you'll engage in wrist movement and occasional lifting of objects up to 10 lbs
• Bending, twisting, and repetitive hand movements are part of the job

• Optical or manufacturing experience is a plus
