Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is needed.
Precision and accuracy are paramount in this role.
This position requires intermittent focused effort, coupled with organizational and planning skills.
Can read and write English proficiently.
Are detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Continuous walking, standing, or sitting (depending on station).
Flexibility is key – you'll engage in wrist movement and occasional lifting of objects up to 10 lbs.
Bending, twisting, and repetitive hand movements are part of the job.

Optical or manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Inserting lenses into frames, edging, beveling, tinting, and ensuring lenses meet correct power, axis, and prism standards.
Checking frames and lenses for cosmetic and optical defects using ANSI standards.
Operating state of the art CNC optical machinery.
Handling lens surface processes like taping, blocking, generating, coating, and polishing.
Operating state of the art Anti Reflective Coating Machinery, sorting and inspecting lenses, and ensuring they meet quality standards.
