About The Position

Stefanini Group is hiring! Stefanini is looking for Manufacturing Technician in St. Paul, MN. Manufacturing Technicians are responsible for manufacturing, assembly, and/or packaging of medical device products. Manufacturing Technicians will be trained and follow standard operating procedures, environmental health and safety guidelines and any other related regulations which could apply to the specific job. Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) will be followed during the manufacturing of our medical devices and associated device documentation. Equipment used by the Manufacturing Technician will depend on the specific job.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have basic English written and oral communication skills adequate to communicate with other team members.
  • Understand verbal and written safety and quality instructions and read and comprehend written work instructions including words in English and drawings.
  • Must be able to perform basic mathematics.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior manufacturing experience is preferred not required for this entry level role.

Responsibilities

  • Perform one or more functions on the assembly lines including but not limited to: washing components or equipment.
  • wrapping components and equipment for sterilization.
  • assembly or gluing of components.
  • packaging and sealing of devices.
  • preparing devices for sterilization.
  • final packaging or labelling of products.
  • Perform daily cleaning of the production area to maintain GMP fashion.
  • Operate general production equipment (sealers, autoclave, stir plates, etc.)
  • Receive and distribute supplies into the production area, as necessary.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and wear proper safety gear at all times while on the manufacturing or warehouse floor.
  • Maintain reliable attendance.
  • Learn, understand, and apply rigorous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Complete required training in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
