About The Position

Keysight is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Manufacturing Technician for its Die Fab department in the Visual and Sort area at the Santa Rosa, California site. The role is part of the Manufacturing Operations team and involves operating equipment dedicated to semiconductor manufacturing. The technician works with engineering, trainers, supervisors, maintenance, and other operators to meet quality and manufacturing needs, with increasing scope and complexity as training is completed and new skills are developed. This position works 3rd shift.

Requirements

• Ability to work effectively on a multidisciplinary team and communicate with supervisors, engineers, trainers, and maintenance personnel.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in an ESD-controlled environment and follow strict quality standards.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other departments in a cross-functional environment.
• Must be a U.S. Person: a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident of the U.S., or a protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

Responsibilities

• Use high-powered microscopes and product-specific inspection criteria to evaluate chip quality and identify defects.
• Operate sort equipment dedicated to semiconductor and SiP manufacturing.
• Work independently and collaboratively to meet production, quality, and operational objectives.
• Handle, process, and document materials accurately while following safety and manufacturing requirements.
• Handle delicate and sensitive Integrated Circuits using skilled hand-eye coordination.
• Support continuous improvement by learning new skills, providing feedback, and adapting to evolving processes.
