About The Position

L3Harris is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join its team at its Rochester, New York facility. The role conducts tests on a variety of RF or digital printed circuit boards, subassemblies, or end products, uses test equipment, logs information in technical databases, and performs basic troubleshooting. The position operates in a fast-paced production environment with a cross-functional team. It requires traversing the production floor for the duration of the shift, which may be up to 12 hours. The schedule is 3/36 on the third shift, Friday through Sunday.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
0 to 3 years of prior related experience.

Nice To Haves

Currently enrolled in an electrical technician degree program.
Basic knowledge of electrical engineering theory.
Associate degree in a technical discipline.
Electronics or RF troubleshooting experience.
Experience with Harris RFCD products and assembly processes.
Ability to perform LabVIEW-driven automated tests.
Familiarity with basic test equipment such as signal generators, oscilloscopes, power meters, and spectrum analyzers.
Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to identify problems and contribute to process improvements.
Strong communication skills.
Familiarity with basic computer software such as Microsoft Word and Excel; Unicam knowledge is a plus.
Willingness to work and learn in a fast-paced production environment.
