About The Position

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of equipment, setup and changeovers, and training of AMT and TNT technicians. The role involves overseeing the assembly process, understanding and monitoring PLC and Robotic programs, and performing equipment troubleshooting and repair. The technician will also report production statistics, order supplies, maintain spare parts inventory, and perform scheduled preventive maintenance. Ensuring proper tooling and computer programs are applied to new product setups, supporting production operators and Engineering, and participating in process improvement activities are also key aspects of the role. Other activities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in Electromechanical Technology or Automated Manufacturing Systems; An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Ability to lead teams effectively - typically team of 2-5 members
  • Ability to diagnose equipment failures and repair mechanical, pneumatic and electronics systems
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask and able to consistently meet project deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the assembly process from start to finish.
  • Understand and monitor PLC and Robotic programs.
  • Equipment troubleshooting and repair.
  • Report production statistics such as finished goods, scrap, productivity, etc.
  • Order supplies and equipment when needed, maintain spare parts inventory
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment.
  • Ensure proper tooling and computer programs are applied to new product setups.
  • Support production operators and Engineering to resolve production issues.
  • Participate in process improvement activities.
  • Other activities as assigned.
