About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in Marietta. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of manufacturing experience and be comfortable working closely with engineers and assemblers to manufacture a variety of products. This position will support and oversee assembly processes, operate metalworking equipment, fabricate metal components, inspect finished parts, and perform basic maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience.
- Experience operating manufacturing or metalworking machinery.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and manufacturing procedures.
- Basic understanding of measurements, mathematics, and mechanical concepts.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment and manufacturing issues.
- Ability to work effectively with engineers, assemblers, and other members of the production team.
- Dependable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate metal parts using appropriate machines and manufacturing equipment.
- Operate metalworking machines and other equipment used in manufacturing processes.
- Support and oversee various assembly processes.
- Work closely with engineers and assemblers to manufacture a wide range of products.
- Follow established safety procedures and guidelines when operating machinery.
- Apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering principles to manufacturing processes and technologies.
- Perform inspections using established methods and techniques to evaluate part quality.
- Identify quality issues and communicate concerns to the appropriate team members.
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment and machinery.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow production procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
