About The Position
Velocity Flow Technologies is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technicians to join their growing team in Salina, Kansas on the second shift (hours: 3:45pm-2:30am). This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to products that positively impact the daily lives of people across the globe. The role involves producing high-quality components, carrying out specific duties based on assigned production areas, following standard operating procedures and safety protocols, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives. Specific roles include Prep Paint Technician and Laser Operator at the Spectrum Metalcraft facility.
Requirements
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to work with blueprints
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Strong work ethic

- Technical training or previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality components as part of a team committed to excellence and innovation.
- Carry out specific duties based on assigned production areas.
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and product quality.
- Prep parts before painting by blowing off dust, washing, hanging etc.
- Painting parts with powder coat paint application.
