About The Position

Responsible for the operation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment & processes used in the projection of medical device and consumer product finished goods Prepare machines to start a production cycle, performing calibration, cleaning and other activities Monitor and adjust machine settings Supply raw material or parts to semi-automated machines Conduct tests to check the operation of machines on a regular basis Troubleshoot issues that might occur during the shift Verify output to detect any machine related mistakes or flaws Create and manage records of approved and defective units or final projects as needed Create and maintain activity logs and necessary paperwork/documentation as needed Responsible for delivering all Product Quality Requirements and defined for Class 1 Medical Devices Responsible for performing cleanings, inspections and lubrication of assigned machines and assisting with preventative maintenance Meet or exceed Business Performance Targets for Production, Process Reliability, & Scrap Responsible for the staging area accuracy and organization

Requirements

  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Working experience of Loss Elimination Methodologies preferred (TPM, Lean Manufaturing, 5S, OEE etc)
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, able to problem solve creatively
  • Able to work in a warehouse/manufacture setting
  • Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at a time

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing experience preferred
